By installing or using SCOPE, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use SCOPE for an employer or organization, you are responsible for following that organization’s policies and confirming you are authorized to enter, import, export, and share its information.
2. Purpose of SCOPE
SCOPE helps users document field operations, organize measurements and records, produce estimates, and prepare draft exports. It is a support tool—not an engineering authority, operating procedure, safety system, regulatory filing service, or substitute for training and professional judgment.
3. Your responsibilities
- Verify all entered, imported, calculated, and exported information before relying on or distributing it.
- Use only operator-approved methods, assumptions, gas properties, procedures, standards, and forms.
- Maintain required permits, qualifications, reviews, approvals, and independent records.
- Protect confidential information and share it only with authorized recipients.
- Back up important records and test workflows before field deployment.
4. Calculations and standards
Results may depend on assumptions, rounding, source data, software configuration, and selected calculation profiles. References to ASME, API, AGA, GPA, regulations, or operator procedures are contextual and do not mean those organizations endorse SCOPE or that the app certifies compliance. The user must confirm the current, applicable requirements and obtain qualified approval.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse SCOPE, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, distribute malicious content, infringe intellectual property, or use the app in violation of law. You may not represent draft SCOPE output as independently certified or approved by Montgomery Field Systems.
6. Ownership and third-party materials
SCOPE, its original interface, code, and Montgomery Field Systems branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Operator forms, imported files, third-party marks, standards, and destination applications remain the property of their respective owners. You are responsible for having permission to use them.
7. Availability and changes
Features may change, be corrected, or be discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device, file, form, or third-party service. Updates may require review of workflows and exports before continued field use.
8. Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCOPE is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Montgomery Field Systems is not liable for field decisions, operational losses, data loss, regulatory outcomes, or indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of SCOPE.
